ansleyRDgroup is celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) with the Ocala/Marion County CEP by sponsoring the Enter the Shark Tank event on November 19. All cash prizes are sponsored by ansleyRDgroup, and Stacey and Jason Ansley, founders of ansleyRDgroup, will judge the competition alongside several local business leaders:

Global Entrepreneurship Week promotes entrepreneurship in six continents and has been observed in the United States for the past eight years.
“The notion of entrepreneurship has greatly impacted our lives,” Jason says, “We jumped at the opportunity to support such a beneficial initiative as GEW.”
Through its sponsorship, ansleyRDgroup hopes to help increase the entrepreneurial spirit among young people and further business experience and education of high school students in the community.
Details About the Competition
Enter the Shark Tank, the Marion County Business Plan Competition hosted by the Ocala-Marion County CEP, invites 9-12th grade students in Marion County public, private or home schools to participate. Contestants are asked to create a business plan based on an original idea for a product or service in the area.
Students may enter individually or in teams of no more than five. All business plans and completed applications are due by October 31 at 5 p.m. Five finalists will then be selected to present to a panel of judges on November 19 at 5:30 p.m.
Scoring is based on both the written business plan and oral presentation. First place receives $1,000 cash, a one-year CEP Partnership & Affiliate Membership at the Power Plant Business Incubator, and will be featured on the cover of both Partner Connections and Innovation Ocala Magazine. Second place receives $500 cash. Third place receives $250 cash.
